Monday 9 April Parish Council Meeting, Old Grammar School, 7.30 pm
Saturday 14 April Rollestonian (Summer issue) - deadline for contributions.
Wednesday 18 April Civic Trust Talk "The Magic Lantern Man" by Brian Morris. 7.30 for 8pm start, at Rolleston Cricket Club.
Sunday 22 April The Big Sunrise - A Choral Spectacular, 7.30pm Burton Town Hall.

The Sunrise Mass and other sun related music. This will be a major concert all about the sun. With invited guest singers, from Chris Mallinson's "Friday Voices" and "Derby Choral Union". A choir of over 80 voices. Rolleston Choral Society will be accompanied by the Helix Ensemble, a 24 piece string orchestra. Tickets are £10 and available from Carol Kobylanski on 07533 350362, Starbucks News, Rolleston or on the door. The exciting programme will include: Ola Gjeilo - The Sunrise Mass, Edvard Grieg - The Holberg Suite, Eric Whitacre - The Seal Lullaby, Eric Whitaker - Lux Aurumque, Eric Whitaker – Sleep, George Harrison (The Beatles) - Here comes the Sun, Alexander L'Estrange - Ilanga libula, ilanga liyaphuma (The sun sets - the sun rises).
