St Mary’s 6th Advent Festival “The World in Waiting”
Friday 25th – Monday 28th November, 1–6pm daily in St Mary’s Church

Welcome to this year's Advent Festival at St Mary's Church and especially as we join the World in Waiting. It is a great theme this year as we realise that we are not the only ones who celebrate and wait for the coming of Christmas.

The various groups and individuals of the village each year come up with some inspiring displays that give us ideas, wonder and a wonderful sense that together as a village we have something to celebrate both here and now and looking to the future. One of the great strengths of this village of Rolleston is how we work together and celebrate together all that is important to us.

This year we have depictions of countries around the world in trees and garlands, by local organisations and individuals. Refreshments and crafts were to be found in the Old Grammar School. There was an opening concert by “Fusion” - winners of Burton’s Got Talent Competition on the Friday evening.
