Any changes in the visual appearance of the village, due to developments, commercial or private, regarding street and security lighting, signs, TV aerials and satellite dishes, should be sympathetically carried out and only after discussion with the appropriate authorities. In the Conservation Area, higher standards are required.

Street furniture should be of the highest quality so as to enhance the appearance of the village and its quantity and location carefully considered.

Signs, commercial, educational, retail or private, should not intrude on the general atmosphere of the village. Traffic signs and road markings should be kept to the minimum commensurate with highway regulations and safety.
