Annual Pancake Races 2008
Saturday 23 February, 2.00 pm on The Croft

A good crowd turned out for the St Mary's Church and Rolleston Civic Trust Annual Pancake Races, despite clashing with many other events happening in the village and a WI organised trip to Cambridge.

There were 14 teams in all and the winners in each category were:

• Infant: Pre-school Team 1
• Junior: We eat Pancakes for Fun
• Senior: Starbucks News Team (for the second consecutive year) - pictured above

Delicious pancakes were served after the event in Rolleston Club by the Pre-School Playgroup. A good opportunity for the village to enjoy a fun afternoon together - not only that but £88.26 was raised for St. Mary's Church Fund.
