Hogwarts signpost to Tafflands

Back in March 2011 a sign post (made by John Underhill) was erected to guide visitors from Meadow view to Tafflands.

It had 3 elements by which you could guide yourself . These were, follow the direction in which Harry Potter's path finding owl "Hedwig" is flying, then for little people, the size of hobbits, there was an eye to look into and see exactly where to go and lastly there was a written arrow that the rest of us ordinary "Muggles" could follow.

Unfortunately, before Easter enemies attacked the post in the dead of night twisting and tearing Hedwig from it’s perch - but the owl did not fall. We took the top of the post away, Hedwig recovered and we rebuilt the sign. Further attackers should beware and recognise that the sign arm is a remarkably good gibbet.
