Mary Queen of Scots
Monday 27 May, 7.15 pm for 8 pm at Scout HQ.

The event sponsored by Rolleston-on-Dove WI proved a very popular event - both the WI provided food and speaker were excellent. Mary Queen of Scots captivated the audience with her account of life at Tutbury Castle, details about her clothing, make-up, personal hygiene, the food, etc. Her description of the 'personal' exhibits she had brought with her (apart from the executioner's sword) caused a great deal of laughter.
