Gardens Sunday With Bloomin’ Feet
Sunday 3 July, 1-5pm.

A total of 13 gardens were opened up to the public, and almost £2,300 was raised for the St Mary's Church Fabric Fund.

A new feature for this year was “BLOOMIN’ FEET” - an array of planted footwear in the churchyard where villagers planted up boot(s) /shoe(s) /sock(s) or anything else you wear on your feet! Seventy two floral displays lined the pathway in the churchyard. Each was allocated a number and visitors were invited to vote for the “people’s choice”. The winners for the best feet were Beryl Pipe in the adult category with a display of violas in wellington boots. Josh Harrison won the children's category with his spider plant and creepy crawlies.

A selection can be seen here.
