Amitié Française
Maintaining an interest in France, its language and way of life.

Amitié Française is a friendly group of people living in and around Rolleston-on-Dove, who share an interest in France, its language and its way of life. They hold eleven meetings a year, usually on the third Friday of every month at 8pm in The Priory Centre, Church Road, Stretton. Meetings are not conducted in French and include a meal. Why not go along and experience the ambiance. For further details check out their website or contact Gill Lomas on 845615.

News - Winter 2011

Started some thirty odd years ago at Burton Technical College by its President Mme Catherine Granell, the club now meets every 3rd Friday of the month at 8.00pm in the Priory Centre, Church Road, Stretton. Activities enjoyed from vary from enjoying the odd glass of wine, a crepes evening, listening to talks from visiting speakers on French related subjects, quizzes, a BBQ and Boule competition and trips to France – all accompanied by good food and company. A knowledge of the language is not a “must” – just an enjoyment of French food, wine and customs. For more information on the Club please contact Gill Lomas on 845615
